Rear-Hub – Downhill Version – wider Hub flange - 6-Bolt Brakemount (DH-Race/Bikepark)

This rear hub, specifically designed for downhill use, focuses uncompromisingly on maximum stability, stiffness, and durability. Compared to conventional downhill hubs with 12x150 mm or 12x157 mm spacing, this hub features a significantly wider hub body and larger hub flanges. This creates the foundation for an extremely stable wheel build – ideal for racing, high speeds, and the toughest conditions in the bike park.

Special Freehub-Body - uncompromising and reliable:

This downhill hub features a shortened Shimano HG freehub and is exclusively compatible with 7-speed downhill cassettes or singlespeed setups. The shorter freehub body allows the hub flange to be positioned further outwards, significantly increasing the flange spacing. This results in even greater rear wheel stiffness and provides an optimal foundation for a stable, durable wheel build in downhill applications.

Maximum wheel stability thanks to a wide hub flange:

The extremely wide hub flange offers enormous advantages in wheel building: In combination with an offset rim on the rear wheel, this results in almost symmetrical spoke tension on the left and right sides. The result is a significantly more stable, durable rear wheel with better force distribution – ideal for hard impacts, high speeds, and uncompromising racing.

Direct Power Transfer – Unmistakable Freewheel Sound

Six pawls, with three pawls engaging in a staggered pattern, create a 3° detent in a 60-tooth ratchet system. The mechanism is also characterized by a distinctive, unmistakable freewheel sound.
